The NeoCon - Circa 1906
For too long the meat packing and pharmaceutical industries have shouldered the burden and blame for irresponsible, blind consumerism. The passage of The Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906, regulating the production and sale of toxic food and drug products, will have disastrous and crippling effects on its respective industries.
Upton Sinclair, known socialist and person most responsible for the recent, unjustified public outrage, asserts that there are inherent injustices in free market capitalism. This view is categorically inane. Furthermore, the underlying philosophy of this assertion is at complete odds with the spirit of self-reliance and personal responsibility that this country has been built upon. The American people need no more affirmation than that which is afforded to them by the invisible hand of the market. It is this mechanism of economic natural selection, the emphasis of ingenuity and development that has spurred the growth and prominence of this Nation. Firms by nature will always be inclined to provide the highest and best quality good in order to attract buyers. Responsible buyers will always be aware of the processes, production, and future value of the goods they purchase. No government hand holding is needed amongst this great lot!
By signing this act into law, the Roosevelt Administration and the 56th Congress have overstepped the scope of their duties and responsibilities as defined by the constitution. No one should be surprised when the meat packing industry and pharmaceutical industry succumb to the weight of these new regulations and collapse.

November 4th, 2008 marks the close of a dark chapter in American history. All across the country today, Americans woke up with elation and renewed hope as our united conviction for change becomes one step closer to reality.
This is a historic moment; not just because Obama is African-American, but also because the American people have spoken again with a loud and resounding voice “We will not put up with Tyranny, Corruption, and Greed”.
We are at the dawn of a new era of reform and monumental change in the way our government operates. As President-Elect Obama said last night, “…for 232 years, at each moment when that promise was in jeopardy, ordinary men and women, students and soldiers, farmers and teachers, nurses and janitors found the courage to keep it alive.”
It’s our relentless courage to stand together in difficult times–because we believe we can–that defines us as Americans. We have proven to the world that America is not another corrupt regime, and the spirit of the founders is still alive.
A long and difficult road awaits us, but “We The People” will prevail, because “Yes We Can.”

For most people, seemingly insurmountable obstacles add enormous amounts of stress and anxiety to their already complex daily activities. Often this amounts to lost time at work, a less than satisfying sex life, and/or loss of enthusiasm and overall melancholy. Previously, people, who for whatever reason, were placed behind the proverbial eight ball needed to somehow overcome their adversities and rebuild their character accordingly. Shamefully, these people had to answer for their transgressions and pay for the consequences of their actions.
Well folks, worry no longer! With this handy guide, developed in conjunction with some of the most experienced spinsters out there, we’ll teach you how to overcome issues like ‘underqualification’, ‘unethical behavior’, ‘lack of intelligence’, and more by simply ignoring that they exist! Seems simple enough, Let’s put it to practice:
Scenario 1 - Interview for teaching job at very prestigious elementary school
Interviewer: Soooo (insert your name here), I see that you’d like to be an elementary school teacher, but it looks like you have no teaching experience to speak of.
Bad Response: That’s true, I don’t know why anyone would consider me fit for this job!
Good Response: What? Are you serious? I can SEE five different schools from my house, and furthermore, I have a best friend who’s a teacher. I really don’t understand why you’re asking me all these tough questions, Sir! Is it because of my gender?
Discussion: It’s easy to see how the first response would not get you very far at this institution, clearly not a good choice. Choice two, however, is very effective. Tactically, you’ll want to boggle the mind of the interviewer with irrelevant responses until you feel that he’s sufficiently confused,…
